
In the 15th-century, a Hindu statue in Cambodia unfortunately lost its head when a temple was destroyed. By sheer serendipity, the head was rejoined with the statue's body last week at the Musee Guimet in Paris. Read John Lichfield's article in The Independent about this lucky find.
