It's not every day that we hear about a wealthy person relinquishing his fortune! But a World War II veteran has done just that - giving away £3.5m!
Bob Bradley of Llanelli, Wales won the lottery on his 83rd birthday in March. He has since made donations to children's charities, spending the rest on family members and friends. "I haven't kept any money myself. I can just give my family all they ever wanted," Bradley told the BBC.
Bradley participated in the D-Day landings at Normandy, France and was injured by a mortar bomb.

That is very rare indeed. But imagine his happiness. I wish I could be so generous but couldn't say that I would. I love to shop too much! hehe
