How
old
is that?
How many
euros does it cost?
Your best price? Yes, I will buy it.
The Fibonnaci sequence poem was written for Poetry Thursday. This week's challenge was to write a poem using words or phrases frequently used in daily life. As I spend a considerable amount of time at antique fairs and brocantes in Paris, the French version of the vocabulary in my poem is used during buying transactions. Not quite up to last week's poem; nevertheless, it meets the requirements on deadline, as I'm traveling.
The German WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik) Art Nouveau figure (pictured) was designed to hold calling cards. It was purchased in Paris for 60 euros or about $75.50. Last year an identical piece went for £1,500 or about $2,733 at a Christies auction in London! For the moment, I'm holding on to mine. Its value will increase.

That's a beautiful piece. Great lines. A wonderful find!
