Another American has won the Tour de France! Floyd Landis overcame physical pain and various obstacles to finish the world's greatest cycling competition wearing the yellow jersey. I was unable to watch today's finale other than on television. But my husband took photographs as the cyclists sprinted through Boulogne-Billancourt, before descending upon the Champs Elysees. We've been privileged to witness five of Lance Armstrong's seven wins in Paris, so another American winner was a big surprise. Read the good news here.

As a Norwegian I was thrilled to see Thor Hushovd win the last day :-)

P.S. I once saw them ride through Geneva. It was quite a spectacle! How fun. (Hope you're feeling good.)
