It's no wonder the US and Britain have dismissed calls for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. The US is actually fueling the fire, by providing planeloads of bombs to Israel! So much for diplomacy.
Certainly, it's no secret that the US is Israel's closest friend, repeatedly selling Israel weapons, technology and providing financial aid. Britain also has sold arms to Israel. But the dangerous repercussions of these two nations providing not just tacit support for Israel, but currently sending weapons - as Lebanon falls victim to the onslaught - will ignite a wildfire throughout the region.
As you read this, planeloads of bombs from America are moving through Britain to Israel. Read the outrageous news here and here.

The fuel has been fired thanks to Isreal, USA and Britian. Hezbolla has too much support now from the middle east. This is snowballing!

It all really outrages me. So many innocents are suffering. Power trippers of this mess whoever and wherever they may be, the war mongers and arguers of power, religion and land, give with the left and while no one is looking, take back with the right and trade off somewhere else to show more power. I agree with GoGo, you reap what you sow and there is no way out of that fact.

Arms to Isreal, Aid to Lebanon...they give a whole new meaning to the word "hypocrisy."

What's frightening is how utterly useless it feels to voice disagreement with policies anymore. When exactly did the tail start wagging the dog? It's been coming on so gradually for years, that we never even noticed. How can we regain a government for the people by the people if even the popular vote is ignored?
I wish I had an answer.

The U.S bastardized
the word democracy.

America has been sending weapons over for some time, including attacks against Palestinians. I worked for a Peace group that sends peace teams to witness and provide support for the travisty in Palestine. The photos I have seen of the cruelty faced stick with me. I have seen photos of boxes of weapons with US codes on them. Its crazy.
There is not enough resistance here in America as there should be.

Dear God, I have no words left in me. The U.S. is getting mired, deeper and deeper, without thought to the consequences. You reap what you sow, it's a law of nature. there's no avoiding it.

Do you have this same feeling of impotence?
Of: where'd my country go?
Just painful impotence.
Thank you for posting this.
