Ducks surround a swan on the River Avon in Stratford-upon-Avon, England
One of the wonderful things about the blogosphere is the friendships we make and how we cheer each other on through tough times. Miss Robyn in Australia and Peggy in North Carolina came up with the idea to host an auction - beginning next week - to help a friend in need. Lisa's sad story is here.
I am donating three items for auction and throwing in another for free to the winning bidder. If you can help - either by donating something to the auction or bidding in it - please contact Peggy via her website Hidden Haven Homestead as linked above or via e-mail: happe2b50@yahoo.com tout de suite! Non-bloggers also are welcome to participate in the auction. Thank you.

Ooohlala, I can't wait to see what you are putting in! (BTW, I've already won your Liberty of London fabric--just in case you didn't know and forgot to put it in the auction!! My address is . . . haha Oh, Tara! I think you need to make some sort of panel out of it. I think it would be too flat and dull on a table. It needs to be upright and in your face! Hmmm, I'm thinking either make a screen that can sit up on the floor like a room divider thingy (and then you can tack little momentos to it) or hang it on a wall. Gorgeous!!! I still have my LL bolt that I need to work into something too. xoxo
