"A poet's work is to name the unnameable; to point at frauds; to take sides; start arguments; shape the world and stop it from going to sleep." - Salman Rushdie

I love stone angels. This one is excellent. I must find my photos of the angels on Reims Cathedral in Champagne. We were told that there was an angel with a bullet hole in his wings, left over from the Second World War, but didn't know where it was. I blindly aimed my camera as high as I could, and when the prints came back....you guessed it! The angel had bullet holes in her wings.
I believe in angels, especially the guardian ones and I ADORE your new header. You know how much I love the lights of the Eiffel tower, now I can see it everyday.
I'm a big believer in angels...and believe we can use all the heavenly and flesh-based ones we can muster right now. Lovely words and image.

Ha. Someone told me today that I would see an angel from Englad and this was the sign I was on the right path.
I was like "That's too omen-y for my taste." And "what does that mean anyway?"
Then I pop on your blog and BAM!
Perhaps a coincidence, but I appreciate the thin line in it all!
Thanks.

Love your new pic at the top. Gorgeous. I have a shot of Paris on my screensaver. It's in sepia tone though but just as breathtaking. Aw, Paris!
