When shopping at the brocante at Chatou last Friday, I visited only two stands (too many things to do before departing for Spain to spend much time browsing). Among my purchases were these 1950s enamelware cooking pots and 1940s decorative beaded and jet items used to decorate handbags. I'm planning to make the latter into tassles for antique keys or perhaps as decoration for evening bags or hats. The beaded item (center) might be converted into a brooch to pin on an evening sweater or jacket. Or maybe they will grace a Christmas tree? What do you think?

I think you should give them to me to embellish vintage handbags!

Beautiful bountiful treasures! They would look stunning with black velvet, or just about anywhere. Will you be home again in time for Halloween? It would be fun to decorate a Halloween tree with them, too. I'm sure you'll have fun with them, whatever you decide to do (I especially like the antique key idea).
The enamelware is so fun and cozy, too. For not having a lot of time to browse, you certainly put your time to good use.
