El Caballo, the venerable Sevilla emporium that sells saddles, riding gear and leather goods has been in operation since 1892. Frances Mayes mentions it in her book A Year in the World, although it was closed during her visit. El Caballo is located on Avenida Antonio Diaz, near the Plaza de La Toros.
Note the iron horseshoe design on the third-floor level of El Caballo matches the one above the main entrance. Click photo to enlarge.
Hand-tooled leather saddles, boots and riding gear are displayed in one of El Caballo´s windows.

What a remarkable thing...to live in a place where merchants have been in business for a hundred (or more) years. (Reminds me for the umpteenth time what CRAP we sell/buy over here.)
