This Spanish madonna is part of the remarkable collection of religious artifacts at La Giralda Cathedral, Sevilla, Spain.

This is beautiful... we saw Michelangelo's Madonna and Child sculpture in the huge Cathedral in Bruges, one of the only (or maybe one of two) of his sculptures outside of Italy. It was impressive to say the least. There is something so other-worldly about these masterful crations... thank you for sharing this picture.

So amazingly beautiful. You some have of the most fantastic pictures on your blog.
And might I say I am in love with your 1940's aqua glass chandelier/wall sconce. I would give one of my fingers for that. ooh and a great big AH!

Just beautiful--my piece I'm writing now features saints/Catholicism quite heavily, so your picture here spoke to me! Happy holidays!
