To attract potential customers, gold and pink stars and glitter are sprinkled on the ground near a neighbourhood jewelry store.
For the One Deep Breath prompt "storms," haiku about a city storm of sorts:
Gold and pink stars rain
down on the streets in Paris
prelude to snowfall

Smiling at the always-beautiful poetry of your words.

Tara,
You are really quick! You spot something most people would ignore and make magic out of it.
Well done.

what creative marketing - but of course, it's Paris!
made a great photo and subject for your haiku :)

Wow, that is different, but I like it.

I'm so glad you don't miss the magical little details - too many people are so focused on where they're going or what they're doing, they miss the wonder around them. Sometimes the pixie dust is lying on the street, in tiny little bits of sparkly stars!

How cool Tara! Wouldn't want to clean those up after a rain ;) xxoo

This is so different from the other storm photos and haiku--thank you for a nice change! I'm assuming the store can't be charged with littering?

creative shopkeepers to offer up such a charming enticement to come in. I love your haiku honoring this creativity.

That is such a magical picture- I feel as if I am looking UP at it and the stars are twinkling overhead! I just love your blog...

Very clever jewelery store owners! It reminds me how Cinnabon in the US has air blowers that blow the amazing smell of their hot cinnamon buns all over the mall so as people pass they can't help but go in! Of course hopefully the sight of the glitter outside the jewelery store doesn't have that same effect! And what a creative poem you have written to go with it. I bow at your feet as I am intimidated by haiku. I use to freeze up when I had to write it at school!
