I'm not sure what this shrub or plant is, but it caught my eye late last Tuesday night. My daughter Jordana and I spotted it in front of a brownstone, while walking "home" after her birthday dinner in South Kensington, London.

There is a similar shrub in a house just round the corner from me. I too have wondered what it might be.
In the summer it develops black type berries that look like black-eyed peas. But more than that I do not know.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday and found some good deals on boxing day.
I think I am going to try and brave the crowds in the morning in hopes of great deals on things that I probably do not need.

It's not a night-blooming Cereus, is it?
