Is it any wonder?
By 2020, China will have 30 million more men of marriageable age than women, making it difficult for them to find wives. A report by the State Population and Family Planning Commission warned the gender imbalance could lead to social instability.
The report said traditional preference for boys, in a country with a one-child policy, is the root of the problem. Abortions on female foetuses are believed to be widespread as couples, particularly in rural areas, hope for a son who will look after them in their old age.
Seems in its race to flood the global marketplace with cheap goods, the Chinese government forgot to consider the social welfare of its citizens.

Can we say: Unintended Consequences?

I have four friends who have adopted little girls from China, all when they were babes. One couple adopted two girls. These little ones have brought joy to four couples who weren't able to have children themselves..........
If females aren't aborted in China, it appears that they are adopted..........and there are many loving families who will pour unconditional love onto them to allow them to blossom.......

As if girls can't take care of their parents just as well as boys -- and if given the same rights, probably better.
Well, too bad. I don't have any sympathy for them. It may sound harsh, but the truth is you reap what you sow.

The murder of innocents is the only way to describe this dispicable policy. China will crumble under the weight of its abundance of men. God DOES work in mysterious ways.

Anyone in their right mind could have seen this coming...

Well a Big FAT DAH! This always broke my heart the slaughter of innocence due to gender, the picking and choosing of males over females...sick! They have nobody to blame but themselves and their own idiot way of thinking!
