My friend Gabrielle's cuisine (kitchen) - like the rest of her lovely home - is filled with unique antiques and collectibles. The old French mailbox (above) now contains recipes and papers.
A marble-topped table from a patisserie.
The 19th-century oil and vinegar pitchers are extremely rare and hard to find these days.

Gorgeous...I was also admiring the vignettes in the previous post. And the minute I saw the street sign, my deep-rooted French education came out in me, Rouget de L'sle wrote La Marseillaise if I recall.

I loved all of these pictures - you know I love vintage glassware, dishes - everything... I have had the most difficult time leaving comments because Faith has stolen the wireless mouse and is trying to click all over your blog. Too many pics that are drawing her eye.
Hurry and post comment!!

What wonderful stuff! The last post too. Your camera is lucky. Mine doesn't get nearly that kind of workout -- or opportunity! It's like everywhere you look there are antiques and neat, odd collections of things. I guess that's Paris!
