How funny! I think it's telling that we all jump to the same conclusion regarding which president the label refers to, even though it turns out to be the president of their company. Guess that says it all...
I followed that link to the TomBihn.com site and when you read it, it explains that it wasn't intended as a poke at President Bush but at the company's president, Tom Bihn. But clearly this resonated with a lot of people (for obvious reasons) because they put the label text on a T-shirt and sold it to raise over $18,000 for a local charity. Awesome idea.
How funny, Tara! I actually used to know this guy when he had a small backpack shop in downtown Santa Cruz. I picked up this story a few years ago and was cheering for him!
