How funny! I think it's telling that we all jump to the same conclusion regarding which president the label refers to, even though it turns out to be the president of their company. Guess that says it all...

That is funny. I am always amazed at the comic ability of people who make me laugh.

I followed that link to the TomBihn.com site and when you read it, it explains that it wasn't intended as a poke at President Bush but at the company's president, Tom Bihn. But clearly this resonated with a lot of people (for obvious reasons) because they put the label text on a T-shirt and sold it to raise over $18,000 for a local charity. Awesome idea.

How funny, Tara! I actually used to know this guy when he had a small backpack shop in downtown Santa Cruz. I picked up this story a few years ago and was cheering for him!
15 March 2007 at 18:37

I always wonder what would happen if companies in other countries did something like this.
It's good to be an American - and have the liberty to exercise freedom of speech.

What can I say?
If the President won't listen to his people, this is what happens.
