Today I had lunch on Ile Saint Louis with a friend from New York. The day started out bright and sunny, so I left the umbrella at home and wore suede shoes. Naturally, at 2 p.m. it poured rain and turned cold! Paris in the springtime... I should know better! I came home to find this package from my friend, the talented artist Kristen Robinson. You may remember that the cover of the March-April issue of Somerset Studio magazine features Kristen's wonderful art on the cover.
I had asked Kristen to make a "Hope" bracelet, after seeing a similar one on her website. She not only obliged, she created a pair of earrings to match, as her gift! Kristen also sent an inspiring bookmark and a copy of said magazine. And by happy coincidence, I was wearing pink today!

Kristen sent this photo before shipping the bracelet. Her fabulous "baubles and trinkets" are available through her website.

These are beautiful. Lucky you.

Absolutely gorgeous! A wordsmith such as you must appreciate those little words nestled in the jewelry as much as I do! Really funky pieces, I love them! That was so loving and thoughtful!
