Happy Easter! Stained glass window at Eglise Saint Severin, Paris

The church features remarkable arched doorways, topped by stone carved figures.

Another view of the French trefoil over the doorway, which depicts Jesus Christ as a knight on a horse.

Scenes of everyday life are shown with these hand-carved figures above a doorway.

This wooden panel of entwined letters and olive branches is located on the exterior wall to the left of the main entrance.

Such inspirational photos! A true joy for me to see on this Easter day :)

Once again your photos are a treat. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world with those of us who are unlikely ever to be able to visit (but I can always dream)

Tara,
I've been in this Latin quarter church with its beautiful and famous stained glass windows. Perfect pictures for an Easter Sunday. I fist saw it at night from the back after a fondu repast and I photographed it that night. We returned another day and entered from the front off it's name sake rue. Of course as I scrolled through your lovely pics ,I was reminded of Alan Seeger's poem "Paris" and had to go read it again.

Thanks for the memories...as Bob Hope would sing.
Happy Easter ma cherie xo
