A luxurious crystal waterfall cascades from the top floor at Liberty of London.
A side view of the suspended strings of crystal lights, with a glimpse of the beautiful Gothic arches of Liberty's fourth floor ceiling.
An antique iron French day bed, its mattress and pillows covered with cheery Provencal cotton fabrics.
A vintage wooden birdhouse is for sale on the fourth floor. Alas, no signs of any Arts and Crafts pieces for which Liberty is so famous. They must have been preparing for an exhibition.
A mirror framed by a curious combination of molded plastic action figures and iconic images, sprayed gold.

This is heaven. Paris Brocante finds and Liberty of London. What wonderful posts.

I find that framed mirror really, shall we say, interesting?(ok I'm thinking something else but trying to be tactful!) I do give it an "A" for oddness. Am I the only one who simply doesn't get it sometimes?
Loving your fresh new header.

Love the light fixture. It reminds me of a beautiful fixture I admired at the old Gumps store in San Francisco. It I ever find the picture, I'll post it.

The chandelier caught my eye, too---and those beautiful fabrics, and the mirror is fun! All of the photos are wonderful; it's always a treat to be able to travel through you. :)

I remember going to Liberty's for the first time as a teenager. I still have a little scarf I got then.
