Before - Vintage French school cabinet, found at Julie Isore's Agape special showing last week on Bd. Raspail, Paris.

After - French school cabinet in my dining room, now serving as a buffet cabinet. I finally have a place to display my small collection of Native American pottery from Santa Fe. The oil painting above the cabinet is by Carole Whitmore, a Santa Fe artist. It was a birthday present to myself in 1999.

The wrought iron directional sign (at left) is French and the "winged" chair is from Barcelona, Spain.

Tara, you certainly have a knack for combining several different elements into a harmonious vignette.
The painting and the pottery are especially beautiful - but oh! that cabinet! I have a 'thing' for cabinets with many little doors and drawers.

Gorgeous cabinet, and you did just the right thing with it! I also love this glimpse of your arrangements, and also the "directional sign" (which I realize is probably a weathervane, but to this priest, it looks like a beautiful cross!). Thanks for the photos!

It is absolutely gorgeous-pretty color and shape and all of those drawers for storage. How many people did it take to hoist it up to the apartment? I am envious of the way you can combine assorted items from different locales and make them all look so suited with one another.

Miss Paris,
I love saying that.... I am soo glad you took that piece home with you! It is stunning. Oh, Santa Fe. I have been there many times in the passed two years. It is changing (more people = more bad boys polluting the streets).... But, I will always have my lovely memories.... xxo (the art will never change either, always wonderful)
