A Guignol puppet theatre complete with marionettes is for sale at the Foire aux Antiquaires at Place Saint Sulpice, Paris. The brocante continues from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m daily through June 18th.

This model of a 19th-century kitchen features tiny Delft tiles on the wall. It also has miniature replicas of various kitchen utensils, as well as a hog's head on the butcher's table.

A row of Balinese puppets were lined up on a park bench at Saint Sulpice.

A hand-painted wooden horse was once used in Chinese New Year celebrations.

The lamp is made from a wooden balustrade post. The doll wears a replica of a French soldier's uniform. Check back later for more brocante photos.

The puppet theater and it's inhabitants are calling my names! Thanks for sharing!

Cool puppets and toys - though the miniature kitchen is my favorite that 'hogshead' is a little disturbing! Wonderful photos as always, Tara. XO

I love the photos. My husband and I visited paris in 05 and we came across this market in Saint Sulpice by accident. I still wish I bought this lovely table cloth that was there on the day! Oh, I really regret it! LOL
What is the punch and judy show worth? I imagine $$$$ - so rare and it looks like its complete too! Wow.

These are great pictures. Thanks for sharing them. It is always fun to go to a French brocante...the items are so different from what you find in the US. I love the puppet set and the French doll in uniform.
