AscenderRisesAbove

cd&m

A wonderful walk - thank you.

GoGo

I'm liking the chairs with no seats. All the photos are great! I can see myself accidently coming across this and already feeling so much familiar.

JanePoe (aka Deborah)

What a lovely stroll. Merci beaucoup, mon amie!

shabbyinthecity

That was fun! I'd walk along that path daily if I could!

bluevicar

Each walk offers us different views, new insights. Without a doubt, a walk along the Seine offers more diversity than a walk in a Boulder suburb (July 19) . Still, I hope that I can open my eyes to see what is offered, feast upon the ordinary.

It's nice to know, though, that when I feel weary, I can stop by here for a view of spectacular diversity.

Meilleurs voeux!!

Mike

Such a lovely walk to take this morning. The pictures are ver nice and honestly imagining the stroll presented in your pictures was a much needed moment of relaxation. Cheers.

A Fanciful Twist

artzyjudie

Absolutely wonderful pictures. Made me want to be right there!

Simon

Great photos and I have to admit they bring back wonderful memories. Is the river boat "Nina" still moored there?

Donna

One day all of us are going to show up, you know that, don't you? Thanks for sharing, as always.

LisaOceandreamer

Oh how I enjoyed this walk with you, I think we almost missed a few things from all the talking we did. I am so glad I had you to point out all those wonderful things - loved seeing the mermaid...and all birdhouses hanging from the trees. Such delights along the Seine....and it made me really want to hop a plane. thank for the stroll and the fabulous company!!
XOXOXO

Laura

Yes to all of your questions! Thank you for the lovely, quiet Seine narrative. I'm always so moved by your photos, the images you choose to capture. They tell us so much about you.

rochambeau

Oh thank you Tara for the little walk along the Seine! Can I claim that boat for my pretend summer l'atelier? Then you can come visit me when you want. At least I can pretend, right? P.S.
I have a lot of friends for your Mermaid to meet.

You make my day bright!

Regina Clare Jane

Oh, how lovely, Tara! Thank you so much!

Marilyn

Fabulous! One of the things I missed most living on the island was RIVERS. I think rivers that meander through cities sometimes get short shrift. I got so much pleasure from the presence of the Willamette winding through Portland when we lived there. Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo essay!

Alina Popescu

OMG, it looks so beautiful and so much cooler than our very Code Red Bucharest...Wish I were there...

amber

Yes, I would love to stop for lunch!

:)

robyn

I love the seine and I love that you photogrpahed your journey, thank you, nice post.

Freddie Sirmans

Just browsing the internet, very, very interesting blog.

leonie (chocolate covered musings)

great photos. i'd love to take a real walk with you there when we visit.

Tammy

This post is why I have my coffee with you every morning. The mushroom picture was the most gorgeous old tree that I wished it stood without adornments.

So glad we stopped for lunch, I was famished after our walk. :)

Thank you for sharing a piece of your world.

OH!! My HEART!! Be still my overly beating heart! ..My eyes are blessed with these pictures! tears! ..I can almost smell the Seine air! .My feet are barely touching the ground! I am tasting the lunch.. perhaps wine to go with it?? I hear Paris calling....

Christine

Lovely! Makes me wish I were in Paris even more than I do already!

tongue in cheek

Do the "brought in sandy beaches," still happen at summer time?
How about the hip Disco with the glorious pool, did they ever repair it after the fire?
Thank you for the walk ablong the riverside.

Tara responds:
Yes, we still have "Paris plage," manmade beaches. And the disco and pool have been restored, if we're thinking about the same one. Je vous en prie!
