Part of a deck of Tarot cards bought years ago in Carmel, California.
At noon I suddenly remembered it was Poetry Thursday. So much to say and so little time. Here's a quick haiku:
Interpret the cards
if you like, but answers you
seek lie within you.

Wonderfully wise 'ku. So simple and yet sometimes elusive.

Too true. The best tool for self-knowledge is our own good mind.

I saw the header and thought it said, "Power in Boulder." Now is that Freudian or what?? Put me back in the old country (heh, heh) and I become egocentric just that quick!
Meilleurs voeux!!

I have been always fascinated by Tarot cards! Because they are not common around here. Here they use normal cards to answer your questions.
These are indeed beautiful. And you are right, they can never give you the right answers, maybe, just maybe, they can provide certain possibilities. I am still not sure how it works. And I tried to find out for years, as I have a relative who is pretty good at this card reading thing.

I love those Tarot cards! Wonderful Haiku, and it's true the answers lie within.

Tarot cards are fascinating. The art is generally enough to bring truth to the surface. Nice haiku!

Lovely deck, and your haiku about the cards, holds a lot of truth - they are at most a tool to see the answers that really do lie within...

I love them!!! My family is cursed. Everytime we use Tarot for answers, the negative opposite happens. It started 4 generations ago.. With the "Brujas" so I can look from a far... But, the last time I played... They pulled me away from a lover, who was stricken with cancer out of the blue, he survived. He survived so well that he becamse a royal jerk. Wait, a minute.. I don't think it was a curse (to lose him).. Oh hand me that deck... xxxooo
ps: I loved your previous posts I missed!! And, yes I think Victoria Beckham is misunderstood by America. She IS joking. She is charming and hilarious!!!!
And the snow cones.... Aye.....

The Tarot cards have always fascinated me. I don't really know anything much about them, but I still find them to be mysterious and beautiful.
