This petite oval giltwood framed portrait is 18th-century, from the private collection of a former antiques dealer in Versailles.
A trio of rare French perfume flasks: from left, Napoleon III opaque glass bottle with chain and hand-painted flowers, mid-19th-century hand-painted striped bottle and cobalt blue gilded 18th-century flask with silver top and its original glass stopper inside.

A Napoleon III hand-beaded drawstring purse or pouch in superb condition. The woman in the portrait above might have used such a lovely bag.
The romantic beauties shown are part of a unique private collection. If you are interested in purchasing an item, please email me.

Oh, those flasks are beautiful! I love the beaded purse as well - I can only imagine how many hours must have gone into creating that - by lamp or candlelight, to boot! Thank you for sharing the eye candy~xo

Tara,
I have this thing for glass antique perfume bottles. I had no idea flasks even existed. Wow. I am staring in awe at the blue cobalt. So beautiful. I guess as they say, if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it! So I won't ask.
I hope you find a buyer.

"Fabulous pieces! Although I only drink on occasion, I love flasks and have bought so many as gifts. There should be a resurgence of those beauties. Imagine bringing one of those lovely treasures out of your purse! My goodness they are joyful pieces of art work! Isn’t great how that needle work stood the test of time…another pretty bag to store scrabble pieces!"

Beautiful. Is some of it yours now?
Tara responds:
No! None of it is mine.
