wow, that one guy really looks like OB1 Kanobi! I thought those were wax. No?
:)
Tara responds:
Yes there is a strong resemblance. And they are real people, not wax. :)

What FUN. Is this daily life in York during the summer? The purple dipped man was fascinating.

Your photographs always show so much detail and are very expressive. I've enjoyed going back and reading about your holiday travels, what an adventure! Your captures from the horse races are spectacular! I'll bet equal or surpassing those taken by the flock of professional photographers stand there that day. My best friend of over 20 years is married to a trainer and it's so interesting me to think that this is her life now. Arts and Crafts furniture is also one of my weaknesses, I don't/can't collect, but boy do I admire!! The buffet cabinets you featured were my favorite of the lot. And although it saddens me to read about the censorship of Pearl Jam's concert and YouTube videos, unfortunately, it does not surprise me. George Bush does need to leave this whole world alone.

I love those street performers!
I listened to a beautiful string concerto under the Michaelertor while waiting for a friend today, and from the other side of the arched passage way came a beautiful baritone's voice. On Michaelerplatz, Napoleon stroke his pose, which stroke me in turn as strange, seeing how he had attacked the city walls with canonballs, last time he showed up in Vienna (198 years later, and we are still cross with him for that *g*). I gave him 20 cents for his bravery (this time around, that is).
