the vintage enamel is adorable. there are still lots of them to find here in the valley decorating the kitchens of the ancient homes of farmers. to buy them is rather expensive these days.

Loving these photos Tara. The whiteware/china is beautiful...I love the simple elegance of white, and very much like the window casing. I have a special fondness for window casings, moldings, salvage from old houses. Character, history...makes me wonder who lived in the house, what they were like. A connection to the past. I used to have all kinds of antique kitchen ware on my wall..until we went with open plan. Now they are all packed away. Thanks for making me feel nostalgic!
