Pamuk is a brilliant writer - the last couple of sentences in his Black Book is still one of my favourite pieces of writing.
Ah yes ... the World Cup ... I was wrong. I'm glad my family only threatened to take my hunch and bet on it - no money was actually lost! C'est la vie.
As always, divine photos ...

Merisi's Vienna

Beautiful things to enjoy and treasure. Please let us know more about "The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit" when you have read it. So far I have hesitated to buy the new Orhan Pamuk. because I still have very little time to read for fun and already a long row of books that wait for my attention.
The glass window panels at l'Institut de Monde Arabe are stunning, I enjoy each and every view you offer us.
P.S.:
Have you seen the new Dove commercial?

Gillian @ Indigo Blue
