These photos are dreamlike - hard to imagine they're actual live creatures and not some science fiction version of aliens :)

Jellyfish are so interesting. It's hard to believe something so thin and fragile looking is so deadly.

Your post title made me smile (it reminded me of those old Monty Python skits that always make me laugh), and Jordana's photo is lovely, Tara - though I'm so very sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Hope you're able to rest and recuperate now that the Christmas rush is over for another year. Sending loads of well wishes and good thoughts your way. Take good care of you and get well soon ~ XOXOXO

awareness

That's an amazing photo! Love the colours and the mystery of the jellyfish.

Hope you're on the mend Tara. Seems like that nasty bug is global. Many have it on this side of the Atlantic too.

take care

Mary T.

Jelly fish can look so innocent. Just like rain drops or snowflakes because each is a thing of pure beauty.

sherry

I'm glad you explained what these were/are....I thought at first it was parachutes of some sort and then they looked like army helmets...but now of course I see I was totally "at sea" (very bad pun!!!).
Sorry you've all been under the weather...not a nice time of year to feel ill!! Hope you are back on your feet soon!

Leau

Stunning picture, Jordana has her mother's touch. Hope you are all better soon, wish I could get some green chili to you, that would take care of those bugs! (heart) leau
