Shades of the '60s in this second-floor window on Oxford Street, London.
A 19th-century building facade, propped up by steel scaffolding, awaits restoration on Oxford Street.
Buses and buildings decorated for the holidays.
Five red buses converge in the heart of London's busiest shopping district.
A diverse collection of toys decorate Debenham's windows.
A study in white in a John Lewis vitrine on Oxford Street.
Exterior decorations on the side of the Marks & Spencer building.
A band performs Caribbean-flavoured music in a charitable appeal.
Christmas angels guard the entrance to a side street.
A pink taxi joins the steady stream of traffic. At this time of year, Oxford Street is crammed with holiday shoppers. Even worse are the huge crowds on Boxing Day, Dec. 26th. Best to avoid, unless you don't mind mad crowds and long lines for fitting rooms!

I have never seen a pink taxi in London. I guess it's like some of the NYC taxis now have flowers painted on them. I love all your pics. Sniff sniff.

lovely! lovely!! The colour, movement, hustle bustle....love it all Tara. London feels very very far away today as I sit watching a snowstorm commence outside my livingroom window......no hustle and bustle out there!
