Volunteers are all fired up in Texas, using their skills, time and considerable energy to campaign for Sen. Barack Obama. Whether or not you're interested in politics, you have to give these Texans credit for enthusiasm! On Tuesday, March 4, registered voters in Texas and Ohio will vote in presidential primaries. A record number of absentee ballots already have been cast in the Lone Star state.

I so hope this man becomes President. Fingers crossed he really does make changes.

not YOU tara, I know you have, I'm talking about those here in the states that don't and just jump for the popular...he says all the right things, but I'm skeptical about how he will deliver and he really does not say...he goes just a bit too far to the left for me at times...right now I'm more into Hillary.

I also think he is pretty 'smooth' I hope we're not making the biggest mistake by jumping on his band wagon because he is so popular . Please please do your homework before tossing your vote to him.
Tara responds:
I have done my homework, quite thoroughly and I believe Obama will make an excellent president. If Hillary can get out of her own way, she, too, will make a good president. She's a very intelligent woman, with good ideas. Her problems come up with she listens to others with bad ideas, such as Mark Penn, who's currently steering her campaign down the wrong track.
