I was glad to see these two huge moving trailers at one Paris apartment. I've been worried about fitting everything in one trailer, when moving day eventually arrives for us. Now I can stop worrying!
Digging trenches for repair work...
Time to take down the Christmas decorations.
Out for a Monday morning stroll.

Some of my favorite posts are of the daily day-to-day snapshots. These are fun!

Oh the house removal... my Dad is thinking of buying an apartment in Paris, but he probably won't bring much furniture from Ireland. Still, he'll need a cherrypicker if he ever wants to get the piano out of his own apartment!
I've been out of the blogging world for over a week and have over 700 posts in my google reader - just getting through them... phew!

We saw scenes like that in Barcelona...much easier moving that way than having to go up the stairs all the time!!!!!

What is all this talk of moving then? Is there something I should know? Let me get to Paris first, then move! LOL
The first photo is weird to me, are they moving things in through the balcony? It appears so. I am not familiar with this. Very cool!

Somehow the city's flair when seen through your lens, make even moving day and trench-digging look chic!
Will you be moving then, sometime soon, Tara?
Hope all is well with you my friend~Bisous~xox

What a lovely stroll!! I laughed about taking down the Christmas decorations...my lights are still up on the eaves but it's been too cold and snowy to get up and take them down...at least we don't turn them on but I still see people having their's on -- and not just the pretty little white lights -- big colourful displays!!!

We filled one truck and one-half of another the last time we moved, so I appreciate two trucks are parked outside of that apartment! Thanks for sharing these pictures.

Welcome back home! It's lovely to enjoy your Paris walk. The apartments are very beautiful! Is that a tea shop with its holiday festoons? It's lovely, even though it's February!

i love these typical large french windows, decorated with fer forgé balconies.
remembering north africa where you find ancient french houses in white washed walls in a similar style. inside grand rooms en suite, high ceilings and autentic stucko, wooden shutters outside for the protections of summer heat, lovely ancient floor tiles in geometric motives.
gray skies above, no sunshine in paris, tara??
we have lovely spring weather here in the valley ;))

I love the everyday-ness of these photos. (Well, excepting the moving trucks -- no one wants to do that everyday, but at least there's some smart technology at work.)

I want to be there. I really do!! But, I am sitting in a 78 degree country right now... And, could I leave? Well, only for a visit me thinks :) Oh will you move one day? When I had to move recently, and then back in, I wished I had just hired someone to do it all ;) xoxoxooxoxo

The routine is universal, isn't it? If only more people in this world would remember that we are more the same than different, then perhaps there'd be less conflict. A pleasant dream, I suppose.
