A marble bust, table and assorted beautiful objets d'art at the 76th Foire Nationale aux Antiquites a la Brocante, now underway at Ile de Chatou. On opening day on Friday, I shot nearly 200 photos. Check back every day this week for more brocante delights. No time to edit and post more today, as I'm going to a birthday party/early dinner.
My friend Kelly sent me this delightful Open Your Heart video, along with the message, "If Suzi Blu doesn't make you smile, than your smiler mechanism is on the fritz and you should really get that thing fixed!" Thank you, Kelly!

I have a smaller bust with a similiar pose that I use to display necklaces & earrings. :)

That beautiful river of green gracing the snow white solid nakedness is just a feast for the senses. And then there is the interest in all the lovely hints of textures.
What a gorgeous photo!

Tara..
I am always torn with these photos. While they are lovely, and just my style....they make me realize what I am missing by not being there in Paris ;)
Bonne fete!!

Just saw my typos!! I meant: Letting US see you carrying a larger that life sized BUST in your hands. At least my typo's are amusing!

Thank you for sharing that video Tara. It made me cry. Now I'll tell you what made me laugh. At first I though you were letting up peek at your new treasures from the Brocante and I imagined you getting on the train with a larger than life sized but under your arm.
Happy birthday to your friend!

Oh Tara my sweet friend, I've messed up my main page on P&WR. How can I change it? I've added too many pictures, one on top of the other and now you can not read any of my info. OH, dear now you see why I'm still on Blog.com
Please help when and if you can.
love, Melanie-bd
