I would imagine that man would have been delighted if he had known he had his head up a tutu :)

Tara, I love looking at your window displays. It's like being in Paris and window shopping. Totally awesome! Thanks to these images I get to see the latest in French couture, albeit some of it is not so chique and rather strange.

Those white tutus look like swans...so pretty.

I love those shop windows in Printemps! Please take more photos for us, please?! Those feathered slippers are to die for.

Wonderful photos Tara. Oh how I long to be it all for myself. To be in Paris.....
When did you say you were going away this summer???
I have started to make plans but the dollar is a hoot.
Keep all the lovely photos coming they make my heart sing and my dream life much better.

P.S. I will be having my own Web page soon. I have taken the plunge. Hope it works out.

Fashion is walking ballet and Repetto...

Those shop windows make our dreams keep dancing.

Great photos....the tutu with the photo images...I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't another wonderful reflection caught!

Gillian

If I were skinny, if I were younger, a tutu would be the way to go.
Or if I was so stinky rich it didn't matter. LOL!!!

oh, this is one of the things i miss so much about working in the city....the window shopping at all the high-end stores looking at their wonderful displays! this was lovely....i love tutus!

Your versatility astounds me. One moment you are examining the political situation ala, Obama, in the city of brotherly love (mine I might add) and the next moment I'm looking at fabulous tutus in Paris windows. I love your constant surprises!

Fingers are still crossed here.

Ahhh...YES...these flats are shoes that I CAN wear recovering from my fractured ankle! Gone are all the shee shee heels!!

Tara:Wishing you the sight of golden daffodils in the sunshine on this blessed Easter weekend!

Springtime fun...what a cool photo with the man's head "in" the tutu!! These photographs make me feel like and airy -- like I could dance on a cloud!

The world of ballet, so magical. Like all little girls, I dreamed of ballet. As an adult I went to the Bolshoi in Moscow and found that the little girl who dreamed of ballet was still in me.

Beautiful photos.

These are exactly why I love your window photos so much! You don't need no stinkin' Photoshop..you've got windows in Paris and cooperative passers by. Happy Spring!

Christine

Your photos of reflections in storefronts are amazing. You should have an art show and call it Reflections. Just wanted to say that I love your site; it transports me from suburbia to another part of the world.

I thought of Swan Lake more than I did the Winged Feet of Mercury. What's with all the tutu's - is it "ballet month" or something? Surely they can't expect women to buy and wear tutu's as a new fashion trend?! Although the striped top one - kinda cool I do admit. (After I figured out in the first photo that the suspiciously placed protusion in the skirt was a slipper. Geeze, my mind really needs a spring cleaning.) The ghostly face in the long skirted dress was really awesomely wierd - I missed it until you mentioned it.
