Flowers at the park at Notre Dame, Paris.
It's not feeling much like spring here, with high winds whipping around corners and chilling us to the bone. Have been busy photographing Paris department store windows, then meeting a blogging friend Beth of The Salvage Studio and her husband Raoul for tea and a brief tour of Ile Saint Louis and environs. I took them to a little antique shop - one I'd never noticed before, on a side street on Ile Saint Louis. And who snapped up two remarkable treasures in five minutes flat? Not Beth. More about all that in an upcoming post.
Beth and her husband Raoul at Notre Dame.
And watching this makes me smile. Hope it brings some cheer to your day as well.

Glad you enjoyed Beth and Raoul...I am missing my friend. Can't wait to hear of her adventures in France! She was so looking forward to meeting you!

Oh, perhaps one day when you're back in California, we can shop at Stanford Shopping Center as you did with your blog friends, here. No antique shopping though, as you know. But it's still lovely with all the flowers planted throughout. The surrounding hills are so beautifully green right now, too.

Yeah, where's are the photo's of the loot Tara? And what a wonderful video of the balloons. A microscopic look at something our eyes record but because it is on fast forward, we miss it. Hope all is well,

I fear if i tried to break a water balloon outside, the water would freeze in mid air! I loved the video clip.
And your photos are wonderful too...the flowers looks so fresh and happy, as do your blogger friends. Fresh and happy in Paris in the spring.

Oooh...look at those spring flowers. Sigh...to be walking in Paris in the Spring..well, really, at any time would be wonderful! That commercial was beautiful, wasn't it? I love the expressions on the faces of the guests at the party and on the man standing in the field. :)
