The Washington Post's Fact Checker has a news flash about Hillary Clinton's claims about her Bosnia trip: she lied. Read the facts, see the photo and the video here.
Nor did Clinton help pass the Family and Medical Leave Act, as she has frequently asserted.
Despite her claims to the contrary, Hillary's First Lady records show she actually made a concerted effort to promote the passage of NAFTA. During the presidential campaign, she has repeatedly said, "I have been a critic of NAFTA from the very beginning."
Seems there's a pattern emerging here, in which Mrs. Clinton's claims lack credibility. The facts simply don't support her rhetoric.
Also, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, controversial former pastor of the Chicago church of which Barack Obama is a member, was the Clintons' invited guest at the White House. He sat next to Hillary at a prayer breakfast and was photographed with the president. So whatever any of us may think about Wright's remarks made public in selected soundbites, he was considered a mainstream religious leader and invited to the Clinton White House, along with other prominent ministers.

Oooooooh, the world IS really weird these days

I don't think I would call him "mainstream", at any time. But he was a leader of the Black community, and the Clintons are the Clintons-- ie; He was useful to them. At least Obama is honest in his love and respect for the man, if not all the ideas.

I love coming here for proof of what my gut says. I wish this could get more media coverage!
P.S. Check out Bonnie's SS on what's happening in Tibet. Where is the media?

Reluctantly, I add my voice to those of the disappointed. And I am so disappointed with Hilary. I really don't mind if she let's politicians down, I've come to expect that the are economical with the truth and reading between lines is always necessary; but please don't let the rest of us women down, Hilary.

Frankly, I think all politicians are the same and Hillary's no worse than the rest of them (Obama included...)
Tara responds:
I disagree. I don't believe all politicians are the same. I think Obama is different, with a desire and intent for a more honest, open, transparent government, which is why he has my support. And he - unlike his opponent - has not been caught in a series of lies, half-truths and exaggerations.

I have become so disillusioned with Hillary since this campaign began. I hope more people begin to see her for what she is, willing to do anything to win. I am scared that another election is going to be stolen away from the people. If that happened, I can't imagine the anger in this country.

I just watched that video in the WP article...I'm sure because Bosnia was so dangerous is why she took her teenage daughter with her!

So not surprised about her. I am so not surprised. Thank you for continuing to find this important information to share with us.

I love that Bill Richardson endorsed Obama. It was a touching speech. The two of them looked quite at ease together....maybe the VP??? Why do people hold Obama responsible for what his pastor says? I'll never know.
Hillary is just full of lies. A new one....google the words *the video that Hillary doesn't want you to see* It is all about the whole Peter Paul scandal that has not really seen the light of day in the media during the campaign.
