Not only do these desserts look like works of art, they taste good too! Or so my friends said. Desserts Friday night at Chez les Anges, Paris.
Main courses at Chez les Anges. In much of the United States and the United Kingdom, these dishes would be considered the size of an appetizer - which explains a lot about why the French don't struggle with weight problems.
Wrought-iron grilled entryway.
Midnight motorcycle and sidecar.

That reminds me of a couple of astounding meals I had on my last visit. Awesome.

I would like a mouthful of everything please! It all looks delicious, and I'm a taster. A little bit of this and a little bit of that does me very well indeed!
And then I'll go home in the cute little sidecar. I'll need a driver!
Thank you.
xoxo

Fun visuals. My favorite is what i call a map drawer (the item with the stamps in the narrow drawers). I've always wanted one of those.

That dessert, a work of art indeed, the chocolate art noveau looking scroll work!
What a fabulous night on the town!

How exquisite and elegant! I know they were delicious!
You know, before I started blogging, I never took photos of my food in a restaurant! Just the other night I was shooting a bowl of cippolino (I think) and thought "I never thought..."!
That little green sidecar reminds me of something you'd see in an amusement park! One of my favorite colors!

You must carry your camera much of the time, always ready for these great photo-ops. I've been thinking a bit about that for our upcoming trip -- the SLR Nikon takes much better pictures, but I can't imagine taking it with us every day. The teeny 4mp Pentax fits in an Altoids box and the pictures are quite decent -- it's probably the one that gets to make the flight.

I LOVE the presentation of these. And, I would appreciate it if you could send me the first delicious dessert asap? Yummy.

That looks like quite an evening! Fabulous desserts - and the main course looks delicious. We do have an obsession over here, with 'all you can eat,' huge-sized portions - and really I think the French have got it right -- something petite, yet perfect, would be so much tastier (and less calories!).
I'm so glad you're having fun - enjoy!~xOx

This looks a lovely restaurant!! The size of the main courses would appeal to me very much -- and that one looks very rich indeed! Now, dessert as art -- you are speaking my language!! Tell me Tara, are those green wheels your's?!? LOL!

That looks soooo tasty! I'm in New York right now for the weekend, so I am getting my fair share of food so I should stop drooling over yours!
Have a lovely lovely weekend, Tara!

Thank you Tara! This post makes me happy. It's so yummy, so is that iron gate. Don't you think that scooter looks kind of like a tennis shoe?
I'm saying bye. I'm going to my moms tomorrow.
