If you're dressing in a hurry, this zippered dress at Chanel should speed things along - if one is tall and thin!

Red, white and blue definitely seems to be 'in' this spring - if that were here, I'd say our election year was influencing the fashion scene - I'm not quite sure what to make of the trend, since this is in France! But it's always so fun to go windowshopping with you, Tara - thanks for taking us along~xOx

hi tara--
had to smile because i caught the same "chanel" windows when i was in paris...would they really wear that in france? i don't see it happening in the u.s. and if an american walked around in paris in that attire, would she be mocked? fashion is so curious indeed!

I get better fashion tips from looking at your photos than from magazines. And the French vitrines are so much more creative than most American store windows. You're my preferred fashion correspondent. Please keep sharing.

Stars and stripes?
Chanel is celebrating our presidential candidates race?
Too short for Hillary or McCain!

I love the Chanel windows! I saw a documentary at the de Young museum about her, her life and her career. I have so much more interest in her designs now that I am fascinated with her as a person. I will go over to the Chanel boutique on Maiden Lane and see if our windows look like yours.

Does red, white, and blue look good on anyone besides Betsy Ross? But the suit is to die for!

Tall and thin -- and flat-chested, that is!
Still, I love the Chanel display, keeping her sense of fluidity; it's the antithesis to the structured, geometrical 60s fashions.
And Spring seems to be here in our Northern climes!
