Chanel's windows are always a dream and I just love the way the Parisians put up those trompe l'oeil hoardings.

I love all of your shop window photos! I checked out our Chanel windows on Maiden Lane and they don't look even half as wonderful as yours...

Thanks Tara! Nothing like some new spring Paris store windows to brighten my day ;)

Now, THIS gives me more joy than thinking about John McCain. But it does make me realize I can probably never come to Paris. I haven't got the style (or the feet to wear those shoes!). Lovely to imagine, though!

There is only 1 thing missing from this Chanel display and thats the very high sought after Chanel free 'box'!!! ;-)

When we were in London two years ago, they were doing renovations on St. Paul's Cathedral and practically the entire was covered with scaffolding, just the dome peeking out above it all. The scaffold backing, however, was painted in an exact replica of the church so on first, quick glance you didn't realize it wasn't the church itself. Okay, so maybe you'd have to have your glasses off to mistake it for the real thing, but still, it was clever.

Can you imagine what a treat this would be for a poor design student? I also think of the Parisians, how can you grow up and not be creative when you are surrounded by so much beauty?

All that Chanel...makes being in Paris so worth it, right Tara! LOL
My goodness, to be skinny and riche!!!
