This post is so fun, especially in contrast to all the news surrounding it. One of my fondest memories of Knightsbridge: taking a walk one morning and seeing a construction worker crossing the street carrying not a thermos full of coffee but what looked like a porcelain cup of tea. Cheers from Denver, Tara! K.

I'm wondering if my comment will go through.. I have been nothing but spam on here and everywhere else lately. I've been on a shoe binge - I would kill to be over there shopping my life away and browsing window displays.

Oh I love window dressing! I love it. Such imagination in it.

Please Tara , don't talk about these awful news ! Not you also !
I hate to hear that even if it is the reality , I prefer just to look at this inspired collage ..

The rate of exchange means that we won't be coming to Europe any time soon. My husband has cousins in N. Italy - we'd love to visit them again - but arriving on roller skates instead of a vehicle is not what we had in mind. I hope that the election brings about an economic upsurge. Mr. Bush must be so proud that he has made us a Third World country.

This is my post!!!

My Melange

Falling dollar + rising gas prices + rising food prices + my hours cut at work = Robin won't be travelling to Europe this year :(

It is a terrible shame. I hate to think what is next. I don't think we can take much more!!

My Castle in Spain

How fun !!
Will come back on wednesday !!

:-)

(1 euro=1,60$ ?? oh la la..just finished translating a document about the subprime mess and predictions for 2008 are not very pink)

I can't wait to hear about London...welcome back!

With food prices, gas and the war we certainly need a leader!

Welcome back! Glorious photos -- this will be a comment representing several of your posts and boy, were they good! Love the collage here and windows -- that was fascinating and fun. And the rugby gang! As for the election -- Hillary has been going over the top for awhile now, but that Iran comment was it!

I've been behind in blog commenting, but am catching up. Welcome home again!

A Fanciful Twist
