"Obliterate Iran?" Not the kind of considered judgment we want from a president answering any 3 a.m. phone calls...
"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Hillary Clinton told Chris Cuomo in an interview airing Tuesday on Good Morning America. "In the next ten years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."
Clinton reiterated her position in an interview with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann. But her staff now says she didn't mean to imply that she would "obliterate Iran." Whatever she intended, it's awfully cavalier - not to mention dangerous - to talk about using nuclear weapons to destroy a country of over 71 million people. This is the latest example of a worrying pattern of "say and do anything to win" philosophy Clinton has adopted in recent months.

whoa, I missed this one. there's yearning for something and then there's psycho-yearning for something.
Just wondering if you've found that you've had "interest" in your posts on the election? I would think the candidates have people working for them to check out the blog pulse?

I agree with you - she will say and do anything to try & win. I pray she's not successful. -d

Very scary interview from Mrs Clinton. Our local media talked about her talkings, and all we are very afraid of her sayings. Is it politics? Not a success to hit somewhere. I want peace at home peace in the world. Please 'Change'.

Tara, I hear what you are saying, I have read read and read some more, I'm a moderate none of these candidates reflects my views, all of them to an extent, but NONE of them really... obama is too far to the left, (he actually scares me for some reason) yes I want change* hillary is a proven nutjob these days and mccain? blach! I'm stumped, you tell me which one best suits my views? McCain will win if the dems don't quit it, they are a complete turn off to voters like myself. It's me amy berriehead I'm not a spammer

This evening marks the Pennsylvania Primary. As it stands, Ms. Clinton is ahead - but not by much. I saw her on Olberman's show last night and was curious as to why she kept laughing - was it an "I'm just regular folks" response? Hard to know. As for attacking Iran - doesn't anybody believe in diplomacy any more? Later that night, Barack Obama was on The Daily Show and seemed so natural and at ease. Here's to his winning Indiana and N. Carolina.

Frightening comments from a prospective leader of the free world. I agree, the Democrats do need to get it together before we end up with another Republican president.

Well, at least this explains why she voted to invade Iraq.

I just can't stand any of them obama hillary mccain eeny meeny miney moe...they all make me ill. I don't think I'll even waste the gas to get to the poles this go round.
Tara responds:
Actually, there is a huge difference in the Democratic and Republican candidates' platforms. Our country's future - and the future of our children and their children - is at stake in this election. I encourage you to read more about the candidates' positions and vote.

This is just insane (and really scary). Her ego is just mindblowing.
Please, Pennsylvania, vote Obama.

Obliterating anything or anyone isn't the way to solve the problem.
How about a more sensible approach that doesn't involve killing yet more innocent people?
I don't know who I would vote for now. It seems there aren't any worthy candidates left. Obama is the lesser of three evils.
I hope he gets in, I wouldn't want to see another Republican president. (Shouldn't the Democrats get their act together? Hillary needs to bow out gracefully I think, if she really has the issues at heart.)
xo
Enjoying London I hope!!!

Is the devil you know better than the devil you don't?
Tara responds:
In my opinion, not in this case.

Hillary has been an enormous disappointment to me for quite a while now, and this current position of hers horrifies me. If we end up with Hillary running against John McCain, this country is just finished.

She is such a lying, deceitful panderer it makes me sick to my stomach. Oh how I am praying that Pennsylvania puts this thing away today!!!
Tara, have you seen this? It is more than disturbing. Hillary was asked about her husband making $800,000 speaking about Columbian trade deals. Turns out that money went to her campaign, but yet she is AGAINST said trade deals. She was asked if that was a conflict of interest...here is her psychotic response....

She needs help!!!
