Great photos of color! Blue skies/grey skies - hubby and I ate lunch out on a patio today (my first uncontagious day out - I had soup) and hubby said he was going to pretend he was back in Paris. I said it couldn't be Paris because the skies were too blue. Hehe. Although, we did have some lovely weather during our stay but gray seems to be the "native color".

The hydrangeas make me so happy.

Is hortensia another word for hydrangea (like a French one?) I don't know, but they are knock-out gorgeous. I love taking photos of peppers. They don't ever move and they're always so colorful! Another lovely journey with you!

All the images...wonderful, I'd love to wander around here. I'm reading a comment above...foosball means baby-foot...I know the game as foosball but had no idea that's what it meant.

All beautiful, especially that peacock piece. Is it a headboard?
Thinking of you!

I've always loved MAY , may be because it is the month of my birth..I haven't read this poem of Apollinaire , before but I love it , I may use it for a post !
And you know what we say in French , and it is totally ME : en MAi fais ce qui te plait!!! ( May is definetly my month)

Still enjoying the pictures. I don't comment everyday, but I look often. Makes me miss Paris so much. It's been 3 years since I've gone. I'm due for a reunion. :)

Great pix as usual! The gas thing is ridiculous and only in the news because summer is arriving. Where was this idea when people could not afford to heat their homes in the winter? They are all pandering to the people who have cars and want to pay less for leisure. This does not help people that rely on vehicles for business.

Which is the most wonderful? Ah! hard to say. What an eye candy feast you've given us for spring.

The pink hydrangea colour is so vibrant - I've never seen them that bright before!

Again, gorgeous photos and how nice to see the sunshine [sigh]. I'm wearing the brown shell bracelet I bought at the shop on Ile Saint Louis but I must say that my Starbuck's salad can't compare to the fresh salade at the cafe. bisous.

My Melange

Loving that brass bed :) I have a antique iron bed...but not that fancy!!!

Oh yes...Tara...think GOBAMA!!!! I also watched the Meet the Press. Though he was great :)

BTW, did you catch Obama on Meet The Press yesterday? Very, very good, I thought. Very good. I wish more people would what that show, it is soooo much better to see people really get to talk and not just fight back and forth or be all bluster.

:)

I love that song. I have a cd in my car right now! And that bed caught my eye.

:)

Wonders Never Cease

Love the pictures, Tara!
You reminded me of one my my favorite French words--baby-foot, what they call foosball! I was so puzzled the first time I saw that written on a placard in front of a cafe.
Such pretty pimentos!
