A Fanciful Twist

I think I am a driver. Sometimes, I am an annoying passenger driver. I am even sometimes, a backseat driver. I am also a whining backseat vertigo car sick driver sometimes too. Isn't that just such an awful thing to know about me??? ;) ;)

But, What I do know for certain... Is that I need that car. I want to find an old car, just so I can do that to it!

FUN!! So delighted you shared this!! xoxoxo

madelyn

I take turns:)

:)

My Mélange

Well...I am the driver!!!

Totally cool car Tara :)

Violette

This is pretty cool! I don't think i know this artcar artist......i know a fellow who drives a beetle with love words all over it and a fountain on the front! I also have an art car though not as beautiful as this!

I thikn i drive my car!

Love, Violette xo

Di Overton

I would say I'm a driver wouldn't you?
Imagine cleaning that thing!

Gillian ~ Indigo Blue

Diane and I saw this car while shopping in February. Too cute! I think there was incense burning on the front hood somewhere too.
I am a bit of both. I don't mind letting someone else drive sometimes. But mostly I drive. I like to be in control of my own destiny. (The life is mine to live, after all.)
xoxo

stephanie

oh Tara! Fantastic!!! What a labor of LOVE...I'm a passenger, just take me along, that's me with my feet sticking out the window!

I forgot to add that I don't have a car anymore, so where does that put me?!

lol.

Interesting question. I'd say that to the world at large I look like I'm a passenger. However, I believe myself to be the driver of my own life. That is, I choose to do that which I want to do in the way I want to do it. Perhaps the real answer is that I am both.

Colette

I've seen a similar car in Toronto. It was years ago...maybe it was the same car!

I've learned the hard way to be my own driver. I have my licence now ;)

xoxo

My Castle in Spain

Oh la la...!
this is some car!!

the new banner is great...

(keep my fingers crossed for you daughter next interview and her coat is just like André Talley said: just gorgeous!!!)

Yoli

I am blown away by the car!!! I also love your new header.

Frida

I love it! Pretty sure I'm a driver in my life although I've been letting go of the wheel a lot more often lately. Probably against the road rules, huh?

Britt-Arnhild

I am The Driver in my life! But I could never ever drive this car, lol.

annieelf

I've seen a few art cars in my time but this one takes the cake. Fabulously imaginative and over the top.

The Bold Soul

I've gotta say it: whoever created and drives that car is one Bold Soul. Totally awesome, dude.

Fun to see this Vancouver landmark (can a moving object even be a landmark -- well, you know what I mean) on your Paris blog. We pass this Bug regularly. Long, long before it became a fixture, though, the Vancouver Island writer/poet Susan Musgrave was driving a similarly-decorated vehicle (well, hers was not nearly so extravagant but since no one else was doing this at the time, it really stood out) You can see a photo of her in this car at her website, on the Publicity Photos page if you're interested. Her biography matches the wildness of her vehicle quite well -- she was long known as the Sea-Witch of West Coast writing.

Wow. And we only have the LEGO car! I thought for sure you were going to say that you saw this car on Haight Street!

How fun! What kind of car was it before they decorated it, do you suppose?
