Please indulge me once again as I post cap-and-gown photos of my daughter Jordana Noelle Shalhoub, following her graduation with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design on Saturday, May 31 in Savannah, Ga.

Walking onstage.
Receiving her diploma.
Jordana with her grandmother Cherie and her great-aunt Annette and great-uncle Lyndel, who drove from Arkansas and Alabama to attend the graduation festivities. They are standing on a staircase in The Ballastone Inn, Savannah.
Jordana with her fiance Keith, originally from New Hampshire.

Beautiful photos of a such a memorable event, Tara. Your family is lovely and how justifiably proud you must all be of Jordana and all she's accomplished.
Congratulations!!!
XOXO

Congrats to Jordanna on her graduation. I like her nose rings-resembles indian women. Thank you for the beautiful photographs and pray Jordanna finds fulfilment in work and love.

Uh....hmmm.....is it okay for me, a guy, to go beyond "lovely girl" to a mother and say, "your daughter is as hot as hot gets!"? If it's not, I'll leave it at stunning......the definition of almond eyes. Congrats to her and to mom...
...I figured the shoes were purchased to match the sash. It is design school, right?

How very exciting. Did you cry through the entire ceremony? I cried through my son's high school graduation!

Such a gorgeous, confident young woman, striding in to her future (in yellow shoes!)
How exciting to watch as she starts her new life journey, in love and in the wide world :)
Tara responds:
Thank you, Becca! Originally she planned to wear black shoes. But the students were warned at graduation practice that they shouldn't wear heels so high they might stumble, so a shopping expedition with mom (and dad) was in order. She fell in love with the yellow shoes and the white buttons that resemble a candy available in London.

Congratulations to Jordana. She is beautiful. Wishing her a lifetime of happiness. I am glad to see todays young people have been encouraged to follow their bliss and choose career paths doing what they love! Way to go Mom!

Yay for Jordana!!! So happy for her...she is embarking upon great things, I can feel it.
Best of luck for her future as an independantly wealthy fashion designer, with her own house label!!!
As for Hillary Clinton, good for her uniting the party to prevent another puppet President for Rumsfeld and Cheney to play marionette with. You said it right, Bush's third term indeed!!!
