Waiting for the ferry to Bowen Island, Vancouver, British Columbia.
"...We can
go down to the well
of the heart,
down the river of words
to the island
of the kiss..."
From the poem "Nine o'Clock" by Federico Garcia Lorca, A Season in Granada.

I remember with such clarity and pleasure, the ferry ride I took to Vancouver Island many years ago. Standing on the deck in the wind was total freedom.

This photo is spectacular. Such grandeur and it's soothing at the same time.
