Won't you indulge me for a moment and watch this video produced in conjunction with a book project in Paris? My friend Julie in San Francisco deserves kudos for making the video - while she had a fever - using my photographs of Paris and London department store vitrines.
I'd like to divert your attention - yet again - to this hilarious blog. Olivier Magny writes about Parisians with the authority and wit that only a Frenchman can manage - without being reviled! If you've ever spent much time in Paris, chances are you'll delight in Olivier's astute observations.

i saw this over at julie's al although i think she is right...here in it's native home it shines even brighter!! those are some gorgeous photos you have there... absolutely top notch book material yes indeed! you are very, very easy to indulge :)

p.s. i want to know about your upcoming novel... that was a surprise to me since i am relatively new to your blog. tell me more! i am completely and totally interested!!

Tom Jones is so very hip and chic, timeless...much like this blog. I am loving it. I'll second Maddie's delight over your "orgasmic platter" of images....tres jolie!
I will be second in line, as I know Mads will be first. xoxox

I just woke up and that video was the best way to start a morning - on fire. Well maybe that was a bad choice of words (fire) considering I am in the mountains of Malibu- the ones that were on fire. Let me start over - that was great - love it ! Great to look at and fun! Thanks for starting my day off with a smile and a laugh.

Hi Tara, and WOW! This video looks even better here in its proper "home." Fingers crossed for you for the rest of the project...I look forward hearing about what happens next.
I think if you are going to be at home sick, it helps to have a fun project and/or to listen to music that makes you smile. I'll say it proudly: I LOVE TOM JONES!
But then, this video wouldn't have been anything at all without your gorgeous photos!
ps. Thank you, Tara's readers, for the compliments!
pss. I am loving that Parisian blog! OMG, he is cracking me up. What a great blog and thanks for sharing.

Hi! I love this video of photographs. I will try this at home. I love the music; Tom Jones singing Venus which is composed by Shocking Blue, a dutch band, fond childhood memory to me. Have a nice weekend!
