Hey Tara

Sitting here watching the news - the Australian media are already calling it in favour of Obama as they are not as constrained as the US media who need to spin it out a while longer. Thought I'd stop in and say hey and yay - you must feel an enormous sense of relief.

Even more excellent - it appears that the Democrats should also have control of the senate which will mean legislative change should be able to go through quickly and effectively - brighter days to come!

Cheers

And being an American, I certainly hope that voters take into consideration all those citizens affected by that vote in the rest of the world when they cast that ballot.

I have been listening to NPR all day as I usually do and thought of you as you are probably the most outspoken Obama supporter/blogger I know of :) I sent my ballot in last week and am hoping for the results we all NEED!

I am sure the world will be happy...

I think it is funny (and telling) how the first paper used such a mean looking picture of McCain. heh. I feel sorry for him...Stupid Bush.

I took both the kids with me today, before I took Wyatt to school. I was telling Wyatt about how women couldn't even vote not so long ago...he said "that is all wack!" lol!

I can't help feeling emotional today, it seems. I cried a little, a couple times. Lots of hope in the air.

The Austrians are also mesmerized, several of the daily papers have headlines about the US elections that are so large they take up all the space above the fold! Young people all over town plan on pulling an all-nighter.

This is wonderful to see! I am going to need a bottle of wine, some chocolate and something salty, like potato chips to get me through this evening. Make that two bottles of wine!

: )

I just wrote a new post. The Canadians for Obama statistics were just released: 85% of Canadians want Obama!!!!

Hi Tara,
The French wait and the Americans wait too.
It's a nailbiter.
Must keep the faith!

Oh, I love this post and the images. It makes me feel better to know that the world is watching us. We need the support and goodwill of everyone to make up for the past eight years.
