Image and original painting by Tucson-based artist Vanessa Valencia.
The painting The Siren Finds her Passion is a recent painting by my talented friend Vanessa Valencia. This wonderful painting has just arrived in Paris, joining my growing collection of Vanessa's art. I like the flamenco feel to the Siren's dress.
Please stop by A Fanciful Twist today and wish the lovely Vanessa a Happy Birthday. No doubt she'll have a raucous party in full swing!

Well here I am back from God knows where. I missed her birthday but have spent this early morning catching up and leaving comments all over the blogging world. That picture is stunning.
I have been busy placing all the furniture that's been in store for 2 years and I have to admit enjoying every minute. Harvey fell out of the loft and hurt his ribs (I had to laugh though). He hasn't slept lying down for over 2 weeks now :( poor soul. I will be posting images of the finished cottage before Xmas so watch out for some of your treasures that fitted right in. It's lovely that I keep seeing bits of you around the cottage. We'll not discuss the fact that the stained glass windows are opposite the toilet :)
Now I am off to enjoy all your wonderful shop window images then to dress the Christmas Tree.
