Wow, Tara I just read through about your daughter's wedding. Sending my best wishes to the family. Btw, I saw her photo in another post, she is so pretty :)

Lisa Swifka

I sincerely wish them a blessing.... a life of love and happiness and compromise and partnership and trust and respect. A life where two people came together as whole beings facing this next leg of the journey in the same direction, on the same path but on their own footing. May they stroll hand in hand towards their future together!!
XOXOXO
p.s. can't wait to see the pictures!

tinker

Congratulations to the happy couple! And to you too, dear, justly proud, mother of the bride, Tara! Happy, heartfelt wishes all around!!!
XOXOXO

Gillian daSilva

The only reason I can think that I missed this is....when you posted this it was Julians birthday! So I just happened to miss this one post.
I am so sorry! Please do not take it as a slight.
Many congratulatoins to Jordana and Keith, she will make a beautiful bride. I can't wait to hear all about the wedding...and see your glorious photos of the occasion.
xoxo

Cheryl, thank you so much for your good wishes. Not sure about wedding photography, but I will try my best! Let's hope that's good enough on the day.

Tara Bradford

Thank you, Helen! No doubt your cousin's wedding will be a wonderful event. Enjoy!

Cheryl de los Reyes Cruz

Best wishes! The more love in the world the better. I know you'll take gorgeous photographs as always.

Antipodeesse

And I will be attending my cousin's wedding in England on the very same day! I will send my happy nuptial thoughts across the Atlantic ocean to Jordana in real time!

Tara Bradford

Laura, that IS disappointing. But how wonderful that you're sketching Grace's wedding. Can't wait to see those! No doubt, they'll be wonderful - just like her wedding! Will pass your good wishes on to Jordana. Love to you and D. xoxox

Tara Bradford

Merci bien, Colette! xoxox

Tara Bradford

Laurelines

How fabulous!! And to think I'll miss seeing them from afar in Savannah by just a week! I'm going to sketch Grace Bonney's wedding (she of Design*Sponge) in Savannah on April 23rd! Jordana is so lovely---can't wait to see your photos.

AAAAH!! A wedding! Congratulations! Proof that life is worth living and hope for the future! And in Savannah! What a beautiful city it is. I am so very happy for you, your daughter, you're entire family! Blessings to all!

Tara Bradford

Thank you, Michaele! So kind of you.

Tara Bradford

Thank you so much, Chris. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until after May 2 - and I know you have better things to do with your time! :)

Tara Bradford

Thank you, Susanna! No, she won't be wearing the antique orange blossoms or that veil. She's designed her own veil and the orange blossoms won't work.

Tara Bradford

Well you know I am Wonder Woman in disguise. :) Fingers crossed, I can pull it off. Thanks for the encouraging words.

susanna's sketchbook

Congratulations, Tara! That's exciting news!! I'm looking forward to seeing your photographs of the big day. Will she be wearing the antique orange blossom wreathe at her wedding?

Chris

Must see picture of designed dress and veil!
Will wait here!

In the meantime... All best wishes to them and to you...

Michaele

Congratulations to the lucky couple, and many MANY warm wishes to you as you add a son to your family!

julochka

what lovely news! big congratulations! but how on earth will you both be mother of the bride and take the photos? that said, i look forward to seeing them--i'm sure they'll be stunning!

Tara Bradford

Let's just hope the photos of the happy event live up to the hype and anticipation! Such pressure. :) Thanks for the good wishes; my daughter will be grateful you took the time to write.

Tara Bradford

Thank you so much, Gillian! I, too, am a fan of Kahlil Gibran's poetry. One of his poems was part of my own wedding ceremony.

Tara Bradford

Oh Katherine, how exciting that you're getting married in May, as well! Hope you'll post some photos of the happy event. No doubt your ceremony will be beautiful, as well as very special. I appreciate your good wishes for Jordana. As for the veil and orange blossoms, I'm amazed at how well both have held up since 1920. Except for one tiny mark - where apparently a pin was placed to hold on the band of orange blossoms - it's in perfect condition.

Tara Bradford

Raquel, your lovely sentiments are much appreciated! Thank you so much.

Tara Bradford

Jeanie, thank you for the sweet comments. You'll get to hear all about it when you're in Paris! xo

Tara Bradford

Mais oui, Vanessa! Merci, merci, merci! xoxox

Tara Bradford

Merci bien, Martina! Let's hope the actual event lives up to all the anticipation! :)

Tara Bradford

I don't think I'll get to wear a hat, as it's an evening garden wedding - which is just as well, as I'll be busy dealing with the camera gear! Thanks for the lovely thoughts for the happy couple. xoxox

Tara Bradford

Merci, dear TB! Jordana will be happy to get your message. On Sunday night she was telling me she and K watched a film that the Boy had with him when we were in San Fran. xoxox

Tara Bradford

Thank you, Ally. I'm a little nervous about the photos, but it is hoped all will be right on the day.

Tara Bradford

Emilie, thanks so much. Will pass your very kind message along to Jordana. My wedding anniversary is in May, as well. What day is your birthday? I had ordered "miguet des bois" before Allegra suggested it - it's a very traditional flower for the first Sunday in May in France. It's sold on street corners here for about five euros a bunch. Alas, it's not so easily attainable in the US and can cost 20 times its actual value (at the source)!

Tara Bradford

Thanks so much, Lisa! Let's hope the pics live up to the anticipation. :)

Gillian

Many congratulations to the happy couple. I'm looking forward to the photographs already. On marriage by Kahlil Gibran is also one of my favourites, Yoli.
