Walkway approaching an historic fountain, Forsyth Park, Savannah, Georgia.
A path lined with oak trees dripping with Spanish moss leads to downtown Savannah.
It's the Ascension holiday weekend in France. No matter where your path leads, here's hoping you find fun and adventure along the way!

Gorgeous! We got a lot of rain while there, so your pics fill me with joy!

Probably April or early May - after that, it starts to get really hot and humid.

I gotta go to Savannah! When is the best time to visit?

Ah, Savannah. I've walked that path and stood by that fountain, and stayed in a B&B not far from that parquette!

My Momma always taught me not to wish my life away. But, you are making me long for next spring break. That's when I'll be in Savannah again. Lovely, lovely images. Lovely, lovely city.

Thank you! You can't go wrong w/ the Ballastone Inn. It is beautiful and in a great location - easy to walk downtown. And there's parking in the back. Will email you about the rest. xo

It looks gorgeous! I'm taking my niece and the kid to Savannah the first days of July. Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do (other than a ghost tour, of course!)? We'll only be there two days. xoxo

Beautiful shots. For some funny reason it put me in mind of the Public Gardens in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand - a place about as far removed - in a myriad of ways - from Savannah, Georgia, USA, as it is possible to imagine!

Truly beautiful! I forgot how lovely Savannah is. I forgot how much I like Spanish Moss. That path to the fountain is alluring.

I love Savannah! It is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. I went there after the movie "Midnight in The Garden of Good & Evil" came out and visited the cemetery, along with the riverfront walk. Thanks for sharing!
