how wonderful it is
to see and hear and dicover new worlds within
and to live to tell the tales
about the life you have had

how wonderful it is
to taste and touch and visit new emotions
and to live to inspire the tales
about the life you once had

I can't wait for the pictures. I love the glimpses you've given us into your home.

You've been seriously busy! I need to tackle my guest room too... but right now it has piles of things to sort, distribute and/or pack!!!

Chris

On another note, these photos rock.

Chris

I am somewhat appeased by this choice, however, I would have hoped for a braver choice. I would have hoped, also, for someone who does not appear hesitant to state her views on choice or specify her views on race. I realize congress is ready to fight Obama on everything. However, there are real arguments to be made for choosing someone who comes forward strongly against fear and in favor of real change. Compliance is not change, not in this climate.

Here HERE for Sonja and may she survive the onslaught of character assassination!

what an article your last link is....

Love the installation, esp. the ram's head. And Polaroids...oh, these 'roids are my fave! I was born in '73 and took a my first pics with my father's Polaroid!

Yoli

I love this installation! As to Sotomayor they will try to smear her name as much as they can.

Rochambeau

Hi Tara,
Sonya Sotomayor is an excellent choice, don't you think. I had to practice saying her name.

Happy to hear about your redu. Change on the outside can sometime express change on the inside, don't you think? I'm still in the land of the re~du!

Good luck with the rearranging! After I read this earlier, I went to look at my cluttered living room. I still can't figure out how to de-clutter. Thanks for visiting me at Delights of the Heart.

julochka

oh, i saw the english poet thing on BBC today. i'm always (perhaps sadly) amused by such stories. and how could she dis a nobel prize winner? that took cheek.

Christina

My husband has had his fingers crossed, for Sonya Sotomayor. And honestly, so have I. I will head to go read these articles.

I can't wait to see the photos you share of your space. The cave? lmao ; )

Di

Looking forward to seeing what you do with your space :)
And as for poets in Britain ... how bad was that! I couldn't believe it when I read of it the other day.
Off to read of the ex-Guantanamo detainee.

Hope all is good in your world xx

Love Joan Walsh! I blog at OS and read her all the time. I am very much looking forward to hearing more from Sotomayor. I think she is going to surprise us. I am hoping Obama gets another pick soon. btw.. That is some crazy art!

Rosa

Oooh, I love the thought of being able to continue taking Polaroid's. They are classics. Thanks for the tip. Good luck with your room. Isn't it fun once you start? It's the starting that's so hard! Ick, some things never change (R). :-P
