Chris

I try not to be sad.
It's difficult.

You're quoting Leonard Cohen! Be still, my heart. A man for the ages. (You know he's doing another NYC concert this fall. Maybe you'll come for a visit?)

The fight WAS fixed. It's disgusting.

I do not and never will understand the attraction to Rush Limbaugh. I am in disbelief over Palin's latest comments too..... Dear God! Save us!!

Helen

Palin's "death panel" dominates the radio air waves today. I think that this administration has grossly underestimated Rovian tactics and an under educated/under informed constituency. Or, at the least, one that gets its news from Faux News.

It appears that the birther movement/tea baggers are one and the same and the new "base" who are now called upon to organize/rally against health care reform. They seem to do it well for the "party of no."

On the other hand, nobody has CLEARLY defined the new health bill. Blue Dog Dems are not helping the situation. People might get behind it if they actually knew what it is. It doesn't really exist yet and people don't like it? That is a poor job of communicating the plan therefore allowing these protests to take hold.

Adore Cohen..agree about the song.

Indeed.
Everybody knows ... . now more than ever.
The truth is sad to admit .. . . . but, too many have
had their heads in the sand.

Stephanie

What is happening in regard to health care discussion is just unbelievable...I think Leonard summed it perfectly...

and Sarah...omg, what can you say.
